Information regarding game updates to ValoClimb
As a part of your Valo Motion Service, your ValoClimb system will receive regular game updates, which can consist of:
- New games
- New levels
- Graphics updates
- Bug fixes
- New features
- Other updates
These updates are free, and your system downloads and installs the automatically.
How is the update installed?
Once a new update is released, your system will download it automatically. The download can take anywhere between 5 minutes and 4 hours, depending on your internet bandwidth and connection quality.
When the download is complete, the system will schedule the installation of the update for the next startup, this way the system will not interfere with ongoing games.
Example: An update is release on a Monday, the operator starts the system up on Monday, just like every other day, the system will automatically start downloading the update. In this example case the download takes 30 minutes. When the download is finished, the system automatically schedules the update installation for Tuesday morning. On Monday evening, the operator turns OFF the system as they always do. On Tuesday morning when the operator powers the system ON, the system will install the new update, which takes around 2-3 minutes, and then proceeds to start normally. All the new features from the update are now installed and accessible on the system.
In other words: no special action is ever required from the operator of the system, just keep operating your system as you always do, and the updates will install automatically.
Will I be notified of the update?
When Valo Motion releases major updates, such as new games, graphics or features, we will always send an information package via email. This email is sent to the registered owner of the system (the same email that you use to log in to the Cloud service). This email will contain information on what the update contains and other useful information and materials.

How can I make sure my system is up-to-date?
If your system has a functioning, fast internet connection, updates should always automatically be installed on your system. If you suspect that your system might not be up-to-date, please contact support@valomotion.com.
