How to add your location information

What is a location?

Locations are used to group units based on their geographical location. All of your units belong to a location and you can have multiple locations under your control.

We offer you the possibility to broaden your brand visibility throughout the Valo Motion games and websites by letting you define the following information about your location:

  • Name
  • Website address
  • Short description of the location
  • Address
  • Logos
  • Watermark image used on top of the videos sent by your visitors
  • Video email content

The location information is publicly shown in various places, including but not limited to the following:

  • In the gaming device
  • Video emails sent to your visitors
  • Video & High score pages
  • The map in the Valo Motion website

Please note: Updating the location details will have an effect on all of the units in that location.

 

How to edit your location information?

To edit your location information, click on the location name in the front page.

You can use the location details tab to add your location name, website URL, description and address.

Use the "Choose file" buttons to select your logos and finalize the upload by pressing the "Update logos" button


Logo versions

We use two version of the logo. One to be shown on a light background and the other to be shown on a dark background. Please select suitable versions for both in order to achieve best visibility.

We recommend using logos that are not larger than 1920px x 1080px.

Please note that you can use the same file on both fields, if you feel that the same version of your logo works for both white and dark backgrounds.

Video watermark

A video watermark gives you the opportunity to add your brand logo or a graphic of your choosing to all videos users upload of their gameplay. It is recommended to use either .png or .gif images with transparency.

 

Video Email

You can customize the video emails that are sent to your visitors. You can see an example of an email where the custom video email text and custom video email link are changed.
